MOCHA @ the Library: In Fall 2021, MOCHA is returning to the library to offer FREE weekly art workshops at eleven Oakland Public Library branches. Join MOCHA Teaching Artists in these workshops for children. Each week the Teaching Artist will present art related to a different theme, building creativity, socio-emotional, and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, and numerous other art forms.
Support and funding for these programs are part of LEAP (Library Education and Art Program). LEAP is funded by a CA State Library grant for the 2021-2022 school year. This grant is keeping our library program accessible to the greater Oakland community.
